It boggles my mind that an educated, mid-40s, political, know- it-all radio host would choose to make snide comments about a girl’s weight. She has a law degree, has been in broadcasting for 20 years, and attacked Meghan McCain’s WEIGHT? Yes, encouraging our younger generations… towards eating disorders. Well, Meghan’s response is great. Not only should Ingraham kiss her ass, but someone needs to get that scrawny chick a damn sandwich.

The Little Kids Are Still Sick.

The girls are a mess, but they are still smiling!
Here’s Brinn “nursing” her baby sister.
Brinn is on day 5 of fever, Shaye is on day 3. Ped couldn’t find the source of infection and told us to just ride it out. Sigh. Someday we’ll eventually sleep through the night, right?

Lazy St. Patty’s Dinner

I think this is the first year I did not make my own corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes.

Instead we did reubens. Once last year, Bob and I went out and ordered ruebens at a restaurant. I don’t know what that place was thinking, but they smothered the sandwiches in mustard. Yuck.

So for the rest of you out there unfamiliar with a REAL reuben, here’s the recipe.

Ingredients:
-rye bread
-Thousand Island dressing
-corned beef
-sauerkraut
-Swiss cheese
