We had Shaye’s 2nd birthday party at our favorite Italian restaurant, Maggianos.
That morning she and I had a bunch of errands to run, so I took her to McDonald’s to get a biscuit because “the tank” LURVES biscuits! For birthday errands, we popped over to Tootsies Too and I got her some super adorable shoes and a birthday dress. Then we picked up Grandma P and headed over to Target, where Brinn proceeded to tell Shaye what Brinn wanted to buy. ;) We stopped home for a nap, and then headed to Southpark to stuff face!
The faces kill me. We are either a bunch of freaks, or the least photogenic people EVER.
She was so happy all day, even though she was getting a cold.
I looooooooove key lime, and I am trying to devise a nice keylime filling for these babies, because really, what would be better than a keylime cupcake, with keylime buttercream, filled with keylime cream? Right, I know. Nothing!
So here’s the Kenny Chesney Song “key lime pie” …again, not the fricken video but it is the song.
I had an order for 4 fun flavored cupcakes for a 40th birthday.
Nothing pisses me off faster than not finding what I’m looking for in the store. Normally I make my coconut cupcakes with canned coconut milk, but on this particular day I could only find a real coconut. After lifting at least 10 of those hairy things up to my ear and swishing the innards around, I chose one.
This was the first request, here’s a pic of my purty white cakes. The frosting is splashed with rum and pinapple to make them “pina coladas.”
I tried to find the youtube link from the movie “The Sweetest Thing” and Cameron Diaz and Christina Applegate are singing this but the link can’t be shared. Losers! So here is the best I could do for you…
