Owl Cupcakes Hootin’ it up for the Shady Scavenger hunt!

My friends hosted their annual Shady Scavenger Hunt, and I had planned to bring something spooktacular, but this year I did Hoot-tacular!
I got the idea for these cuties out of my Hello, Cupcake book.
The cupcakes are chocolate mocha. I used a sour cream based recipe and added a tsp and a half of instant coffee to give it a rich, coffee flavor (and some a much needed energy boost after running 3 miles in the dark for 90 minutes, drunk)
These babies helped us karaoke it up and dance the night away till roughly 2am.
