Last but Never Least- Magic Kingdom.

My friend Amy had given me 2 Unofficial Guides to Disney and I read that like a Bible before the trip. I will say, the book had some really great tips, and one tip was Don’t Do Magic Kingdom First.
It totally makes sense, because when your little ones experience that, honestly, some of the other parks (Epcot) will seem really boring (educational). So we saved the best for last.
Bob and I had talked it over and decided that it would be best to split away from the group for this. MK is geared for so many different tastes and since we were catering to our little ones there, we took Brinn and Shaye off on our own and Maeve hung with the rest of the group.
We parked the car and hopped on the Ferry, which Brinn thought was awesome. We headed to the park gates, bag checks, into the park we go and of course I want to take a picture!
Please, please look at this face.
I was VERY worried at this point we were going to have
an Epcot recap. But she shook the crabby once I put the camera away.

She was DYING when she saw the castle. Seriously.

The first place we headed was the Haunted Mansion. Brinn LOVED it! She was fascinated by everything, especially the “ghost-esses”. They also LOVED it’s a small world. We were lucky, It’s a small world, Peter Pan, Snow White, etc they were all only 10-15 minute waits.

Then she had to ride the carousel THREE times.

She took my for a spin in the tea cups. I love that face….

And then she wanted to go on the little rollercoaster in Toontown, where we bumped into everyone else. Brinn was in LOVE with the girls face paint so….

she got hers done.

We decided to take her to meet the princesses, and it just so happens that Belle is her favorite. She was in awe, totally adorable. She also met Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty (Aurora).

We pushed it till about 4 or 5 that day because A. it was the last day, B. the kids were being awesome, and C. the weather was overcast and a little cooler. We went back to the condos and had dinner, then took the kids back for fireworks and more rides. The MK was open until 11pm so that was cool.

Maeve had her one and only major breakdown right there. Buzz Lightyear. “we haven’t done
A N Y T H I N G I wanted to do today (yeah, right)” tears, tears, sobs sob. Of course AFTER we did the ride, she was all smiles.

Someone fell asleep.
Well, until the fireworks started!

Brinn drove a race car, and bragged all night about getting her driver’s license (god help me), and we hit a ton of other rides, including the Flying Dumbo. Brinn had waited all day to ride, but it had been an hour wait. At night there were NO waits anywhere!

Maeve’s last stop of the night, her choice….The haunted mansion.
And when Brinn went through for the 2nd time, she took Bob on a tour. The kid remembered EVERYTHING from her ride earlier that morning.
I think my girls had a magically, great trip.

and even the parents had a magically fabulous time!!
But our next trip- less walking, more resting. :) Okay, ladies???
The perfect ending!
